Despite some editing issues, primarily at the start of the book, I still gave this story five stars. I love the setting, the drip-feeding of various mysteries, the romance (and the dash of spice that was incredibly well written!), the action and adventure, and the inclusion of myths and legends - this book had it all! I absolutely loved it and couldn't put it down.

I feel the prologue should have been focused on the history, perhaps from Merlin's perspective, maybe? But as I said, my issues were within the first few % of the book. Once the authors found their flow, they really found it.

I am eagerly awaiting book 2!
